Armbruster Dripps Blotevogel LLC partners Roy Dripps, Michael Blotevogel and Charles Armbruster were able to convince the Sixth Circuit Court of Appeals to reverse a summary judgment that had been entered against a railroad employee in the Eastern District of Kentucky when the employee was represented by a different law firm. Armbruster Dripps Blotevogel LLC’s partners applied their decades of experience handling FELA and Jones Act cases to the facts of the case to convince the Sixth Circuit that there was more than enough evidence that the railroad failed to provide a reasonably safe place to work when a driver it hired was involved in a single-vehicle accident, and that the railroad employee was entitled to his day in court.
